Customer Checklist Dogs
- Collars – A simple collar with an identity tag (This may be removed when inside the Kennels)
- Comforter – Your dog will settle down more quickly if he or she has a familiar toy of pacifier to reassure and make them feel at home.
- Bedding – We provide plastic beds or hammocks with warm vet bedding. You may wish to bring in their own bed or a piece of bedding with their own scent to help settle them in.
- Feeding Instructions and special dietary requirements – We will need to be informed about any specific requirements. We stock most major brands, but please bring any special diets as we would prefer not to change your dogs diet. There is no need to bring dog bowls as we have sufficient.
- Contact Name and Telephone number – If you are going to be contactable during your pets stay please can you leave a mobile or land line number. If this is not going to be possible please can you leave a number for a family member or friend.
- Vets Details – In case of illness or emergency we may need to contact your dogs vet. If your dog is very old or ill prior to boarding special instructions should be left with the vet stating the extent of any treatment that should be given.
- Medical Conditions – Any pre existing medical conditions need to be carefully explained and we would prefer to have any instructions in writing
- Vaccination Certificates – Showing Current vaccination and Kennel Cough Vaccine. Kennel Cough vaccine needs to have been administered at least 36 hours prior to boarding and preferably 2 weeks before.
- Dates – Confirmation of boarding dates along with the expected time of collection.
- Pet Commands – Inform the Kennels of any commands that your dog responds well to. In addition if your dog is nervous or aggressive around food or physical contact please let us know.
- Pet Coats – If your dog normally wears a coat in colder / Wetter weather please bring this along as we will walk them in all weather conditions.
- Arrival - All dogs need to arrive on a lead or be fully under your control.
