What to Expect
Dogs
All dogs are walked twice a day in our paddocks or along our private lane. They also have access to their own covered outside run, many with views across our fields. Generally dogs are walked on leads individually, which is the safest method and enables the dog to get to know us and for us to check them over. We can exercise your dogs off the lead in our fields with your written permission (as per licensing regulations)
All of our Kennels are fully heated during the cooler months and optional individual heat lamps are available for each kennel.
Extra Walks
Whilst your dog is with us we can offer additional walks at lunchtime, please see our price list for a range of options.
Bathing Service
Prices for a bathing service are shown on our price list.
Collection and Delivery
Prices for the collection and delivery of your dog are available on request.
Vaccination
All dogs must be fully vaccinated and the owner must provide us with an up to date vaccination certificate before their dogs enter the Kennels. This includes the Kennel cough vaccine that must be administered at least 3 days prior to boarding, preferably 2 weeks before.
Noise
During the majority of the day the Kennels are very quiet. When different dogs or people arrive and during walking / feeding times it is natural for dogs to bark but they soon settle down. If your dog seems stressed or nervous we will give them the extra loving attention they need.
Meal Times
Meals are served as near as possible to the times that the dogs are used to. We supply many of the leading dog foods but should you wish to bring your own you are welcome to do so. Our aim is not to disrupt your dogs diet. If your dog is on a special diet we recommend that you bring this with them and a discount will be given.
We build up a relationship with your dog and when they get to know and trust us they don't ever seem to forget us.
